This beautiful 1955 Porsche 356 Pre-A embodies the pure DNA of the brand. Originally built for the American market, it stands as an early witness to the era when Porsche laid the foundation for its worldwide fascination. The exact date when the car returned to Europe is unfortunately no longer documented – but since 2014, its history has been clearly traceable again.

Between 2016 and 2019, the coupé underwent a complete restoration – down to the very last screw. A renowned specialist carried out the work with the utmost care and deep respect for the car’s original substance. Great importance was placed on authenticity: the 1500 cc engine corresponds to the correct type, even though it is not “matching numbers.”

The color combination of silver metallic with red cord and imitation leather suits the elegant coupé perfectly and underlines the timeless character of the Pre-A. Since completion of the restoration, the car has covered only around 230 km and presents itself today in an almost factory-new condition.

An early 356 of this quality is rare – a car that captivates both in a collection and out on the open road.
