About six years ago, it stood there – a disassembled project, half forgotten, on a scrapyard. Among rusty metal and the smell of old oil, something special caught our eye: the silhouette of a Porsche 356. No one knew who once owned it, but its shape promised history, style, and soul.
In our workshop, Vehicle Experts, its second journey began. It wasn’t a quick restoration, but one that demanded time, patience, and heart – five full years. Our passion for air-cooled cars kept us going, even when the world stopped during the pandemic.
Every decision – from the color to the engine – was made with care. We chose Graphite Metallic, just like in 1956 when it first left the factory. Bit by bit, everything came back together. And when body and engine were reunited after years apart, it felt like a small wedding in the workshop.
Two months ago, it stood again on its own wheels. The owner was there, and so were we – quiet, moved, proud. It was a bittersweet moment: sad to see it go, but happy to see it alive again.
We don’t yet know what awaits it, but surely it will once again collect sunlight, roads, and admiring glances. For us, it remains a journey of patience, passion, and pride – and a piece of history that drives again.
