Upholstery

HANDS ON

The upholstery shop is the “oldest” part of our workshop. Not literally, but ideologically. At our workshop, we use modern technology rarely. Instead, manual skills set the tone. Leather pieces are selected with a connoisseur’s view, fabrics are cut with scissors and stitches of the sewing needle are set with tact. Clever hands make dull surfaces shine. And custom work makes torn steering wheels beautiful again. The difference to mechanical production is not only qualitative, but also aesthetic. A hand-operated sewing machine makes a seam look different – which fits your vintage car much better.

For a vintage car offers the driver a window into the past, to feel what it was like to drive, at a time when the car was new. The sensory experience is felt most by the person sitting in the car seat. This is why the interior must be accurately recreated.
